Robotic Coding VEX IQ Competition Class
The VEX IQ Competitions are global robotics contests designed for students in elementary and middle schools (6-12 years old). These events challenge teams to design, build, and program robots using the VEX IQ system, a snap-together robotics platform. The competition has a unique game each year, where students' robots compete in various tasks. The focus is on STEM education, teamwork, and problem-solving. These competitions provide a hands-on, student-centered experience that fosters a deeper understanding of the STEM fields while encouraging collaboration, creativity, and fun in learning.
This course will focus on the skills needed to design, build, and program robots using the VEX IQ system, combining practical hands-on experience with theoretical knowledge. Aimed at enhancing students' understanding of STEM concepts, the course will cover robotics fundamentals, programming, and strategic thinking, all crucial for success in the VEX IQ Competitions. It's an ideal opportunity for young learners to dive into the world of robotics and prepare for competitive challenges.
