Robotic Coding WLRC Competition Class
The Wonder League Robotics Competition (WLRC) is an engaging event that began in 2015 and has since reached over 90,000 children. It's a coding and robotics competition designed to inspire an early (6-8 years old) love of coding, computer science, tangible learning, and STEAM education. The competition includes story-based missions where teams develop problem-solving, growth mindset, and creativity skills while learning to code. Participants compete virtually from anywhere in the world, submitting their entries online. The competition is open to teams of one to five members, supervised by an adult coach.
This course is tailored to equip young learners with the necessary skills in robotics, coding, and problem-solving, crucial for excelling in the WLRC. Through engaging, hands-on lessons, students will explore the fundamentals of robot programming and team collaboration, all while working on projects that mirror the real-world challenges presented in the competition. This course is an excellent opportunity for students to enhance their STEAM education and prepare for success in the WLRC.
